US troops 'kill Iraqi police':
"About 10 Iraqi security personnel have mistakenly been killed by US soldiers outside the town of Fallujah, west of Baghdad, according to Iraqi sources.
Police and witnesses said US forces opened fire on Iraqi police chasing a car carrying gunmen as it passed through an American checkpoint.
The US military said it was investigating the reports.
If confirmed, it would be the second friendly-fire case in the flashpoint town in the past two days.
